The TTK FG-ECS water detection Kit provides rapid detection of any water leak. The FG-ECS Kit is a standard length of water sense cable with an electronic box, which can be connected directly to an air-conditioning unit, a fan convector or a PLC input. The FG-ECS Kit acts immediately of leaks.

FG-ECS KIT

A STAND ALONE SYSTEM

The FG-ECS Kit ensures permanent detection of areas at risk (ducts, flanges, valves, under-window air-conditioning units and fan convectors). The FG-ECS Kit is available in standard and pre-finished lengths of 3, 7 or 15 m. The water sense cable must be installed to cover the areas at risk and thus limit the consequences of an undetected leak.

EASY INSTALLATION

The FG-ECS kit is fitted with an electronic box, to be connected to a 2-pair link cable. The first pair available is used for supply in 24V AC/DC, the second is the fault signal, connected in Normally Open (NO) or Normally Closed (NC). The 0V (connection point 12) should be connected to the ground of the power supply.

The extremities and on-line junction of the FG-ECS Kit are waterproof and mechanically tested. The sense cable should be dryed shortly after detecting a leak. Special fixing clips are used to hold the length of cable sensing in the chosen location.

A TOUGH AND STURDY DESIGN

Small in diameter, the FG-ECS sense cable is light, flexible and of a recognizable colour. Its helical construction, connected on an extruded central core reduces the risk of contamination and untimely alarms. Operation of the detection system is facilitated by a short drying time of the FG-ECS sense cable. It is made in a tested material, which is abrasive-resistant in hostile environments.
